The game also includes a two-player option that requires the system's Game Link Cable. The player's progress is saved to the game's built-in battery. In Time Trial, the player must beat certain time limits for an opportunity to unlock new vehicles. In Free Race, the player is allowed to freely drive around any chosen track. In Cup Select, the player races against others to win a championship cup. During this mode, new vehicles and courses are unlocked for use in other modes. In Grand Prix mode, the player must advance through races set in each of the game's locations. Hot Wheels: Burnin' Rubber includes four gameplay modes. ![]() The game includes 16 race tracks set in various locations, including a beach, a desert, a casino, a pond, a dining table, a piano, and a bathroom. In-game assets of Burnin' Rubber 5 show that the A7's supposed AI name was Katie, a possible reference to Katie Commando.When equipped with Crash n' Burn weapons (two lasers), the first shot will consume three bars of its primary ammo if the player heats it long enough.Exclusive to the online version of the game, there was a glitch where the A7 could be collected by completing a Daily Challenge in 13th day of any month.It is mildly damaged and is armed with two mini-guns on its sides. The A7 is featured as a mascot car in the game's loading screen.It is one of the three Audi-based vehicles, along with the DX Turbo and the R18.The A7 is available upon buying it for 30 tokens. The A7 appears as one of the four starter cars. The A7 is unlocked upon beating the third racer. The A7 Predator is one of the two vehicles available at the beginning of the game, along with the Hunter. The Bloodbuster is available at the beginning of the game and assumeably is the only car that you can drive. When fully upgraded, it can reach a top speed of 101 mph. Despite its average performance, it can be only useful in some races in the early stages of the career. It keeps a moderate handling for its size, but it lacks in terms of top speed and armor. The A7 is available at the beginning of the game.
